Robbie Foundation is Bridging the Gap with Laughs with its annual Gala Evening!

Friday, October 17th, 2014 from 6:30pm to 9:00pm at the Black Point Inn, 510 Black Point Road, Prouts Neck, Scarborough, Maine. Join the Robbie Foundation with a Gala Evening to benefit children with special needs. The event will take place on Friday October 17th, at the Black Point Inn in Scarborough. WCSH6’s Jackie Ward and Sharon Rose-Vaznis will emcee the elegant evening which will also feature a live auction and special performance by Karen Morgan. There will also be cocktails and heavy hors d’oeuvres. Tickets are $75 per person and $140 per couple or reserve a table for 8 for $550. Robbie Foundation is also seeking sponsorships for this event. All the proceeds will go to purchasing equipment, therapy treatment and other services that are not covered by insurance for children with special needs. Karen Morgan is a former trial attorney turned comedian after being selected as a Finalist in Nick at Nite’s Funniest Mom in America. She is the winner of the Improv Comedy Club’s National Comedy Contest in Las Vegas. Karen can be heard on Sirius XM Radio and nationally syndicated shows such as The Big show with John Boy and Billy. Karen lives in Cumberland, Maine with her husband, three kids and big dumb dog. Karen is native to Atlanta, Georgia but now resides in Maine with her husband and family.
