Is School Too Risky For Your Child Right Now?
Schools in every state across the country are scheduled to open this fall. This includes public, private and chartered schools. Most are opening their doors for in-person instruction and abbreviated days and/or hours.
Watching the process unfold, it appears that decision makers are assuming that students and teachers are all low risk for contracting the Coronavirus. For many of us who have children with chronic health conditions, the rush to get back to normal can be dangerous or even fatal.
Our lives will not go back to “our normal” for quite some time. How strongly do you feel that your family is still safer staying away from the school community? Will you feel differently when a vaccine is made available?
