What are our parental needs?
What do we need as parents of kids living with different needs? Here is a claim for many of us. We need more time, more energy, money for therapies, ordinary friendships, a date night, a place to vent, reassurance that we are doing the right thing, exercise and nutrition, family and friends with a clue, updates and information on my child’s diagnosis, a coach to help steer and advocate for us.
What are your biggest needs right now as a parent? Is anyone helping you survive?
