This program is open to Maine children with developmental disabilities who are pursuing a post-secondary education.
Understanding how difficult it is for a family to afford all that is required in the life of a child with special needs, Robbie Foundation will award a grant of $1,000 – $2,000 to one family each year (if funding is available). This money will be applied to tuition and disbursed directly to the college or university.
2015 Scholarship recipient, Zachary Johnson of Dover Foxcroft Academy.
2016 Scholarship recipient, Kaylee Blake of Thornton Academy in Saco.
2017 Scholarship recipient, Dakota Webster of Scarborough.
At Robbie Foundation, 100% of funds raised go to Maine children with special needs for the equipment, technology, and/or therapy treatment they need, but isn’t covered by insurance.
